Happy 4th everyone!

In Tyler we trust.

No Rights.

Thought this was worth posting up as it is mostly true. lol

Bill of No Rights -Lewis W. Napper
We, the sensible of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid any more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt-ridden delusional, and other liberal, commie, pinko bedwetters.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that a whole lot of people were confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim that they require a Bill of No Rights.

You do not have the right to a new car, big-screen color TV or any other form of wealth.

More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.

You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc., but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be.

You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful, do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all of your relatives independently wealthy.

You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes.

You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in public health care.

You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and kill you.

You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big-screen color TV or a life of leisure.

You do not have the right to demand that our children risk their lives in foreign wars to soothe your aching conscience. We hate oppressive governments and won't lift a finger to stop you from going to fight if you'd like. However, we do not enjoy parenting the entire world and do not want to spend so much of our time battling each and every little tyrant with a military uniform and a funny hat.

You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want you to have one, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities in education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful.

You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to pursue happiness -- which, by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an overabundance of idiotic laws created by those around you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

Thank you, Mune. This made me laugh pretty hard. Is it right? Probably. lol.

Happy Birthday to me!!!! Yay! I am 26 (read 25 because I was too excited) today. Just a little over a quarter of a century old. lol. That makes me feel even older. All of mine and Mike's money went towards bills but we had a little left over so Mike bought me some Godiva chocolates and some bath salts! ^_^ They smell really good. It is grapefruit and lime scented. Pretty cool. I a having a small get-together tonight at my mom's house. We are having small cakes and coffee. Hopefully there will be flowers too. Just something cute and clean. ^_^

Well I had to call out of work tonight because I couldn't find anyone to watch Jo-Jo... I hate calling out because I only work two days out of the week and it isn't fair for the other employees who could have had a weekend to enjoy. Mike has called out the last several times but needs to save up his PTO for when I have the baby. I hardly have any PTO as it is and now I am forced to have less. The reason no one could watch Jo is because my grandpa had to be rushed to the hospital today around noonish because he couldn't breath. Turns out he is fine, thank god, but this was at around 5pm-ish that I found out.

They are keeping him over night for observation. My mom said that neither she nor my grandmother could watch Mikey so that I could go to work. My mom got home around 7 o'clock... She isn't staying at the hospital. Her fiance will be home in the morning and Mikey Jo usually sleeps until I get the to pick him up. 7pm!!!! I could have dropped off Mikey, gotten two more hours of sleep, and still have gone to work!! I need the money because I have bills and would like to eat. My mom literally said over the phone, "Well, just enjoy your night off."

WHAT!? It isn't a night off! It is a night of not getting paid and ruining someone else's evening. So she doesn't have to watch Jo tonight and I am sick as a dog anyway and I am watching my son and not getting paid. How is this fair?? I can understand that she is under a lot of stress but give me a damn break! I don't need to lose my job. Granted I have not called out for a while... over 2 months I think and my employee evaluation went great but I need pto!! ;_; I'm so upset.

So I did find out that the big hole in the engine bay was half of the wiring harness and more tubing and the... radiator? I think... I forgot. XD But progress has been made. Dave is looking for an apartment so the I can have my 4th bedroom back. I'll need it because of mah bebe! I have an OB check up next week so hopefully I will see and maybe even hear a heartbeat. Little "Bean" is kicking my ass. I am so tired and I just ache all over. I do think though that "Bean" dislikes me being up at night because that is when they make me the most sick. That and "Bean" refuses to let me drink carbonated anything. If I do, I literally just feel like I need to die.

At least they let me eat tomatoes. Jo-Jo wouldn't let me eat them. I think "Bean" doesn't appreciate Orange Juice though. I feel ify when I drink it. Even a little. They do like chicken noodle soup though and Italian food. Thank God. "Bean" does alright with fish too so I know that I can eat that now as well. Too much milk is bad though. Ah how my body has changed. It is funny how "Bean" has just kind of moved in and taken over. I guess kids just do that... XD

Car stuff...

I am feeling a little better but my energy level is crap! If you looked on a meter, I'd be in the red near the bottom. Last night at work almost killed me and I didn't even do that much. ;_; Please god make the next trimester better.

Anyways, when Mike and I got home from work we went and ate breakfast at IHOP. I only ate half of it and brought the rest home so that I could eat it at work. When we got home Mike and I headed out to the garage to start working on the 240 again. We actually made a huge amount of progress on it. We took the hood off and put it up against the wall for safe-keeping and started taking out some of the easily removable internals. We also labeled things so that we know how to put the engine back together when we are done.

We took out the air filter and tubing, MAF is gone, battery is removed, ran the engine till it died so we could get the fluids out of it, took out misc other things, and I had fun ripping apart a rusty metal pan with a wrench. That thing is so fubar'd. After that I ran out of energy and had to lay down. At some point Mike went to sleep as well and woke up 3 hours later because he couldn't sleep. He told me later that he did some more work on the car so I have to pop into the garage before I leave so that I can see it. Evidently whatever he took out has put a huge gap of space in the engine bay. Pretty exciting.

I hope I can survive work tonight. I still feel like crap. XD

Just to let everyone know, early voting has started which means that you can vote for the President now and avoid the long lines in November. It is up in Canton next to the funeral home. Mike and I are going to go at some point. Maybe today before we go to work. And who am I voting for? I have reviewed both candidate's websites, watched more news reports than I care to admit, and have read more pro's and con's about Obama and McCain than I should.

I am voting for McCain/Palin.

Fun fact: McCain, his wife, and one of his sons participates in local Drifting events. It is fun to know that Cindy McCain, a total gear-head and car enthusiast, can drift circles around the competition. XD Their car of choice? A 240sx! How cool is that?!

So sick...

Well, last week we had to make a sick appointment for the Jo-Jo because he was complaining about his ears. Turns out the back of his throat was covered in pus and swollen. XP Poor kiddo. We had him tested for strep and it came back negative so it turns out it is a virus of some sort. Thankfully this week Jo has been feeling much better since we have given him Motrin and Zyrtec. Well, Mike got sick about 3 days ago with the same thing and now I have this virus! It will supposedly go away in a week... A week!!

Mike and Jo are lucky because they can take whatever they need to so that they can feel better. Because I am pregnant I have a very small list of things I can do to make myself feel better. The most powerful drug I can take for my sinus congestion is Sudafed. That's it. Otherwise I am limited to a humidifier and cool drinks. o_o I can only use a saline spray for my nose. And God does my throat hurt! I told Mike and my Mom that it literally feels like someone is hammering nails into the base of my skull and into my sinuses.

I can't even remember checking out in Kroger today, that is how bad I hurt. Thankfully Jo-Jo is feeling better so it is easier to take care of him. He can mostly entertain himself while I keep of downing sudafed, zofran, and gas-x like it is going out of style. I think I should buy stock in Gas-x because I'm buying so much of it, it could quite possibly make the company ression proof. XP I never had so many problems with Jo. I find it funny though because my mom said, "I told you the second is worse than the first!" To which I replied, "You told me that I should have another!" Mom, "So it is my fault now?" Me, "No. I'm just fulfilling prophesy."

She thought that was pretty funny. I have heard it said that in order to acheive total happiness and harmony in your life, you must have two kids. Something about kismet and other nonsense. I don'y think people ever really thought about women when it comes to this. Making human beings is a hard job!! When Mike asks me what I have gotten done today, I tell him, "Well I just got done making a lung. Now I'm working on the spleen." Thank you Bill Engvall for that. XD Fatigue is going to kill me. I went out yesterday and bought a foam mattress pad so that I can sleep better. I think I only rolled 3 times.

Anything is better than waking up and feeling like your damn femurs are going to fall out of their sockets. XP My hips hurt! ;_;

The Hurt List:

1. Head (the whole thing)
2. Throat
3. Intestines (this is a close second in pain)
4. Supporting ligaments in the abdomen
5. Hips
6. Legs
7. Stomach (most of all the stomach!)

Yeah... If I was a horse someone would have shot me by now. XD
